Privacy Policy ShelfCheck
ShelfCheck is a private mobile application developed by Dive In Studio, LLC for use exclusively by authorized Cuisine Solutions personnel. It is not available to the general public.
This policy describes what information ShelfCheck collects, how it is used, and how it is stored. We keep data collection to the minimum necessary to operate the app.
Information We Collect
When a user submits an in-store audit report, the app collects the following information as part of the report form:
- Name — to identify who completed the audit
- Email address — as a point of contact associated with the submission
- Audit data — shelf placement observations, product facings, competitor information, and store details entered during the audit
- Photos — images of shelves and product displays captured in-store
We do not collect location data, device identifiers, usage analytics, or any information beyond what is submitted through the audit form.
How Information Is Used
All submitted information is used solely for the purpose of retail visibility auditing by Cuisine Solutions. Specifically:
- Audit reports are reviewed internally by Cuisine Solutions to evaluate in-store product merchandising
- Name and email are used to identify and follow up on submitted reports if needed
We do not use any collected information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the audit workflow.
How Information Is Stored
Completed audit reports, including photos, are transmitted to and stored in Cuisine Solutions’ Microsoft SharePoint environment. Dive In Studio, LLC does not store, retain, or have ongoing access to submitted audit data.
Data transmission between the app and SharePoint is encrypted in transit.
Third Parties
ShelfCheck does not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. No data is shared with or sold to any third party.
The only external service the app communicates with is Microsoft SharePoint, used for report storage on behalf of Cuisine Solutions.
Access & Security
ShelfCheck is restricted to authorized Cuisine Solutions staff. Access requires a password provided directly by Cuisine Solutions. The app is not publicly accessible and is not intended for use by anyone outside of the authorized user group.
Children’s Privacy
ShelfCheck is a professional tool intended solely for adult employees. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
